PlanetHPC at ISC conference.
PlanetHPC took a research exhibit to the International Supercomputing Conference in Hamburg, 30 May - 3 June 2010.
A great deal of interest was shown in the project from the international audience that the event attracts. Membership of PlanetHPC increased by over 10% as a result of our attendance and many useful discussions took place at the booth, pictured below.
One of the themes of this year's conference was how to achieve exascale computing, and how to generate applications that can use such machines. These are key issues for PlanetHPC, and we are setting up new discussion forums on the internal website so that members can contribute the discussion.
Following the success of this year's conference, PlanetHPC will be taking a research exhibit to ISC'11 which will again be in Hamburg (see www.supercomp.de)
